"One love. One heart.

Let's get together and feel all right"

(Chamida, Leo, Asanka, Kathi)

I'm reading Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss and I thought I'd share some stuff on TRIBE:
"The energy content of the first or Tribal chakra is tribal power. The word tribe is not only a synonym for family but an archetype, and as such it has connotations beyond its more conventional definition. "

Rohani and Sara

"Energy connection to the physical body: Spinal column, rectum, legs, bones, feet, and immune system."
Kalu's feet

"Primary strengths: Tribal/family identity, bonding, and the tribal honor code; the support and loyalty that give one a sense of safety and connection to the physical world."

Brown and Leo

"Sacred truth: The sacred truth inherent in the first chakra is that All Is One. We learn this truth and explore its creative power through experiences connected to tribal or group dynamics."

Vipula, Gaiyan, Dimutu, Zachary

"As part of our spiritual development and our biological health, this sacred truth has physical expressions in honor, loyalty, justice, family and group bonds, groundedness, our need for a spiritual foundation, and the ability to manage physical power for survival."

"In the actual Christian sacrament of Baptism, a family makes a twofold commitment. First, it accepts its physical responsibility for the new life that has been born into it, and second, all members accept their responsibility to teach the child spiritual principles...For a spiritual adult the sacrament of Baptism as a symbol carries two other commitments. First, we have a spiritual need to accept fully our family of origin as having been "Divinely chosen" for teaching us the lessons we need to learn in this lifetime. Second, we commit ourselves to accepting personal responsibility for living honorably as a member of the human tribe, for doing unto others as we would have them do unto us, and for respecting all life on this earth. By fulfilling these two commitments, we are in essence, baptizing ourselves and honoring our own lives."

"To be a part of a tribe is a primal need..."

"As tribal beings, we are energetically designed to live together, to create together, to learn together, to be together, to need one another."

the Clarady girls

"Feel yourself connected to all of life...bless the life you have agreed to live....and the family that makes up your life."

Griffin and Lucy
