It's been a sunny hot day in Colombo until this evening when a thunderstorm broke out. There was a huge thunder clap right above our building which a few folks at my office mistook for an explosion. There was about a minute of accelerated heartbeats and worried faces. Sigh....only thunder.

I'm off to a friend's house for dinner. Looking forward to Vietnamese home-cookin'.

Leo says that the sea is looking calmer everyday. Still slow in Hikka though.

Jessica made it home safe and sound. Driving to work yesterday morning, she said "Lanka style" car horn behavior almost got the better of her (haha).
