not all who wander are lost

not all who wander are lost

I learned about PS22 from Tracy (check out her blog at Music from Big Pink) and have fallen in LOVE with these kids and their teacher, the whole livin' out loud vibe that is evoked. I keep watching video clips. It reminds me of that Marianne Williamson quote:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talent, fabulous? Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"We are all meant to shine, as children do...."

Thanks Tracy for introducing me to PS22. I'm so inspired and filled up inside. The kids. The teacher. The passion. Livin' out loud is the only way to live.

Happy happy Friday!

Let the voices ring out the beautiful sounds. The faces on those children are precious to watch. Good teachers sure inspire children and the 'arts' have been suffering lately. It is wonderful to hear and see the dedication of this teacher.
