this morning I crawled out of bed and peeked out the window over the churchyard. The morning was just beginning, still heavy with mist and completely silent. I opened the window and sat out on the sill. I could see my breath. And the fields, misty with the breath of earth.
I thought of Kodie. He taught me this. The secret hour. When everything is still and perfect.

mmmmm
In my world that 'secret hour' is the time that I wake up before everyone else but not on purpose. I'm glad that someone enjoys the peacefulness of that time of day.
