New Sticks

Our first week back is over. It was tough in some ways and good in others. Now it's Happy Friday night and we are waiting for the "crew from Hikkadu" to arrive and carry us and our boards down to the beach. A 3 hour harrowing journey through the craziest traffic on earth (and that's a promise). We normally leave with Big Daddy early Saturday morning to avoid the traffic and give ourselves a breather after the work week, but he was booked, we are young and eager and decided to go for it tonight.
We are taking our new Clean Ocean Surfboards (COS) down south on their maiden voyage. We are looking forward to getting them wet while at the same time hopeful that Zach's artwork does not wash away into the sea. We sprayed a protective coating over our new fish friends in hopes that it will stave off the salt water...we'll see.
















We are looking forward to seeing our Hikkaduwa crew, as well as soaking in some sun, saltwater, and surf. Warm up these winter bones, tan the hide a bit, rinse our stuffy runny noses in the salty sea :)
