On the way home to the Cape, we stopped in Louisville to see our dear friends, Alie and her husband Greg who are expecting a baby any minute. What a blessing to see our friends in this sacred time, just before they welcome their child to the world. I whispered a little blessing to the beautiful belly, we sat and talked for a little while and then, though it was much too short of a visit, we pushed off on our 20 hour drive to Cape Cod.

I'm so glad that you were able to take this trip. Visiting family and friends can be so nice and a great way to spend this time, a year from your Dad's passing and his birthday. Your beauty shows through these pictures. I am so glad to see the smiles on everyone's faces.
