The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: His eyes are closed.  -Albert Einstein

It is Ash Wednesday and into the proverbial wilderness go many for the next 40 days. A time of reflection. A time of "pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe." Good journey fellow travelers...

After reading your blog today about Ash Wednesday and seeing the add on the side about helping Heiti, I thought you may like to join us on facebook and “give up something for Lent to help Haiti”!

Please join and encourage others to join too so we can walk the journey of Lent together while helping Haiti.

I love this post. The picture, the quote, the reflection.

So beautiful.

Thinking of you, my fellow pilgrim. You always feel so close to me during this season.

Went to the chapel today and lit a candle for you and your dad and your family after getting smudged.
I love you. Em
