Shiver me timbers

I had my first cold water surf session 2 nights ago, full wetsuit/hood/booties/gloves and Leo was cameraman until I paddled in. Then he ran back up to the car, got suited up himself and joined me with the Hansen (old skool board atop the new skool Honda). I saw a seal while we were out there, lots of gannets and loons. And before we went out, I saw a pilot whale. I was in HEAVEN out there. I caught 3 waves, all rather goofy performances as I wasn't used to being encased in rubber, but 3 waves and a big fat smile on my face all the same. After about an hour, I started to get chilly so we came in. As we got out of the water, we met 2 local surfers eyeing the water (that's them in the last picture). Super nice guys. I introduced us with a frozen brain.....My name is Leo and this is my husband Sara....Leo and the other two guys looked at me with furrowed brows and all started to laugh. As the realization spread slowly across my face, the dudes laughed harder, which makes me chuckle even now...Shiver me timbers, what a little cold water can do~
