We wake up to the news that President Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize. I sent out a text message to about 10 people this morning about this. Uncle Bud sent back a text that said, "Prize for Talking the Talk. Now must Walk the Talk." Fair enough.

What it feels like to me is that the World is standing on the sides of our Path, clapping their hands, cheering us on, "You're going in the right direction, keep it up!"

Surely, this news is going to fuel controversy; to be expected. Most likely we can at least agree that this is an honor. I for one feel proud. My hope is that we can acknowledge the honor together. I also hope that we can leave some space in our collective mind-hearts for pondering what it means in the Spirit of things, to put our collective energy towards WANTING a more peaceful world and supporting our own country in that pursuit~

Amen to that.

In his morning acknowledgment of receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, President Obama said he was surprised and humbled. That he accepts this prize as a call to action rather than for anything he has accomplished or done. Well said.

Cheers for Peace~

Definitely a call to action. I love Obama's messages and I am very surprised.

Amen to the vision of a different place and the walk that brings it into being.
