Jess is back home in Michigan. She went for a run last night and reported her wildlife sightings to me:
Peter Rabbit, a dead skunk, and a raccoon that came running TOWARDS her with a completely different vibe than my fox from last week. "I miss the seals" she said.

Awww. The seals miss you too Jess.

Which reminds me....the latest news from our beach is that there is a movie being filmed there! A romantic comedy with Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner (Gweneth Paltrow's mom) called The Lightkeepers. Probably won't come out until next summer is my guess. Ha! Imagine our surprise when we went to check the surf yesterday and the whole parking lot was full of lighting, wardrobe, and related trailers! We haven't spotted the stars yet. We checked the surf and then left. Maybe we'll swing by again today and see what's going on.

Looks like a beautiful day for seals and movie scenes.
