2009

As the poet David Whyte said, "Absent the edge, we drown in numbness."
The start of this New Year finds many of us standing at or near our growing edge. We have endured, or are in the midst of, major transitions and change in some area of our lives. Although transition is traditionally thought of as the "time between", it is often the time when the most significant growth occurs within us, it is thus a time to be honored and revered. And it is in this time of change, of transition, of honor and reverence, that the new year comes.
We bring our full attention and positive energy to this first morning,
trusting and expecting the unusual and perfect unfolding.

To a Happy and New Year, 2009.
Blessings upon this,
our growth
our journey~
