Mom, Tina, Erik, and I shared a cozy Christmas Eve by candlelight. Shrimp and bread and salad. Champagne toasts and readings, in Norwegian and English. The Bible, Maya Angelou, Mary Oliver. Thankful for being together, remembering our precious ones tucked around the globe celebrating in each their own ways, connected in Spirit by friendship and kinship and by the holy season~
