the Dawgs pulled on some stylin' duds and drove themselves to the Gallery Cafe for a romantic dinner. broccoli/avocado salad with lime honey vinaigrette, cream of parsley soup with roasted garlic and parmesan cheese, sweet pumpkin soup, pumpkin ravioli with pesto sauce, fettucini with fresh lobster and prawns, strawberries & cream, chocolate sorbet. all under the rising moon and surrounded by the raw art architecture of geoffrey bawa. an unexpected treat. after dinner, we drove to the grocery store and loaded up on goodies for the week. tonight was the first time leo rode in the car while i drove, first time he/we didn't have to get a tuktuk....it's such a novelty.
