back from the beach, a bit pinkish and brown. leo decided to stay down for the surf competition that began today. he's not competing, rather taking advantage of the other break (less people since everyone is watching or surfing the reef break) and watching the competitors between his sessions. he's in pretty good shape; surfing several hours most days for the past few weeks. looking and feeling good.
the sea was beautiful this weekend, especially this morning. glassy with swells rolling in like gentle giants, curling at top speed making magazine scenes. in other places the sea was almost flat so lots of people swimming. nice conditions for everyone. i'm home now and settling in for the night. good dreams, restful sleep, and a peaceful good week. letting that little prayer balloon drift upwards tonight for all of us.
