in the early hours of this good new day the heavy moon sank, shattering the black bay water into a million diamonds. we awoke to to the sun. the tall sand pines were the first to celebrate, dancing their silky needles in the wind. we followed by twisting and twirling our appreciation through the sandy trails, past red berry bushes, tickling the surface of a lake with our winter white toes.
the dogs drank the cool water, dripping muzzles catching a scent, bounding off to explore life's mystery and intrigue. we walk on farther into this good new day, experiencing it fully, together~
