I called to talk with my family in the States this morning and I calculated the time difference backwards.....it was 11:45pm their time.....9:15am my time. Why oh why is Sri Lanka 10 1/2 hours ahead? It's the 1/2 hour that throws me completely off.Another phone debaucle today...I called a friend/colleague to discuss a slightly work related matter, blahblahblah, "And what are you up to?" I finally ask. "Oh, I'm in Sydney." (As in she is on vacation and I just blahblahblah'd her on an international line during her vacation about WORK.)
I got home tonight and I had left my phone at work...which means you are all safe for the next 7 hours.

I cannot stand the telephone! Especially solicitor calls. The Worst!I prefer writing letters to people. Unless, of course, it's one of my kiddies, then that is a different story.
