hoppers

the neighbors brought over a pot'a food tonight. big daddy asked me this morning if i was the kind of vegetarian who eats eggs. i said yes. he asked if we liked hoppers. i don't know, never tried them....so, lo and behold, round about 7pm about 4 family members came to the door. we hadn't eaten yet. sweeeeeet!! thank you (stootti, as we say in singhala). i am here to say that i like hoppers. kind of a crepe/coconut/egg thing.
it's raining again tonight. sounds nice.
too tired to write anything substantial except that our neighbors are awesome.
